The local offer

The local offer is the new proposal to provide Care Leavers with  a service until they are 25 years old (Currently finishes at 21 years old).  This  involves bringing all services together to improve the provision that is offered to Care leavers; a planning group consisting of OVOS Care leavers, professionals and Children Service’s staff have been heavily involved in this process and shaping what the local offer should look like. The services  involved ranges from; housing, mental health, fitness, general  health, financial support, leisure and many more. The launch for this will be during Care Leavers Week; November 1st. Look at out for more information on this.
